We were contracted by BT to demolish 6 redundant buildings on top of the Scousburgh Hill at the former THRS site.
The buildings were in a poor state of repair and so BT wanted them removed to avoid any possible further damage and vandalism. The job was delayed due to a Red Throated Diver nesting in a nearby loch which meant the work had to be carried out in October and November through gale force winds on some days. We controlled the waste management onsite using the SIC Gremista landfill as well as our own licensed Scrap handling facility. The works were completed onitime, on budget and with no accidents or incidents.
