We started soft stripping the building in December last year and this week we have started the full demolition using excavators with various specialist attachments. This is to make way for the new fish market to be built on the existing site and accommodate the increased amount of fish being landed.
As much of the demolition material will be recycled as possible to minimize the amount going to landfill. Our in house skip and bin hire service is invaluable to ensure the efficient and segregated removal of material. The building consists of a steel portal frame with steel sheet cladding, concrete first floor and block work walls.
