We had a great day attending the Developing the Young Workforce – Shetland Local Opportunities and Apprenticeship event yesterday! It was great to meet so many individuals interested in the Modern Apprenticeship route. Our plant operator simulator also attracted a lot of attention, giving young people a taste of what it is like to operate plant and machinery for a living. Deklyn Feather was on hand to assist with the operation of various items of plant on the simulator. It was popular both with the pupils and the adults!! Special thanks to Callum Mackintosh at the Scottish Plant Owners Association for providing the simulator. If anyone is interested in our Construction Plant Operator or Groundworker modern apprenticeships, please either visit our website or email [email protected] for more information. #DYW #CITB #Apprenticeships #Construction More
